The Year of Faith

The Roman Catholic Church began a Year Of Faith observance beginning on October 11, 2012.  This observance is focused on a "New Evangelization" with the intention of welcoming back to the Church Catholics who have fallen away from their faith as well as providing an opportunity to enlighten practicing Catholics with a deeper understanding of their faith.  Pax Christi will be offering two class format programs to help people better know and embrace our Catholicism.  Pax will present a class on Vatican II called " The Faithful Revolution" which involves DVDs with discussion to follow and another class on "Catholicism" with DVDs and discussion.  The first series on Vatican II The Faithful Resolution will be held Wednesday evenings Dec 5, 12, & 19 at 6:oo pm in the Dining Hall.  The dates for the series on "Catholicism" are TBD.  The Diocese of Winona website has additional resources on the Year of Faith and can be accessed by clicking HERE.
