24 Hour Coordinators
As a 24 hour coordinator, you are to check the sign-in book for adorers once a week. Your adorers are grouped together and called a prayer team. Check to see that those scheduled adorers are signing in for the hour you are assigned to check. You may check the sign-in book at whatever time of day is convenient. If you notice one of your assigned adorers is not signing in, let the committee chair know so the adorer can be called to find out the reason for not signing in. Contact the assigned division leader if you need additional help in finding a substitute for regularly scheduled adorers who cannot find their own substitute. Contact the committee chair with changes, deletions or additions to the Adoration schedule. Call to remind your adorers of the time they signed up for prior to the first week of starting Adoration. You may want to choose someone who can help you with your duties when you are too busy, or are absent and can’t perform them yourself. Remember, your hour to check the sign-in book may be different than your own scheduled hour of Adoration.

Adorers/Prayer Team Members
Adorers are grouped together with other adorers that share the same hour of Adoration, just on different days. This group is called a prayer team. Members of each team can help support each other, so it may be helpful to get to know them. The prayer team members should be the first people you look to when you need a substitute. Since they have the same time of day, just on different days, they might be more likely to help make a switch or pick up your hour of Adoration. Remember to tell the committee chair about any problems you have with your scheduled hour of Adoration. Also, you will receive a reminder call from your assigned 24 hour coordinator prior to starting the first week of Adoration. Your assigned 24 hour coordinator will be checking weekly to see that you are signing in for Adoration. Your coordinator is someone you can call as a last resort if you are having a hard time finding a substitute.
