Birth-Two Years Old

Pax Christi is a young, vibrant parish. We welcome those of all ages. To help you with your infant and toddler, we offer the following:

Baptism

Baptism is birth into the new life in Christ. Access more information on our baptism page or contact our baptism coordinator, Joe Kelley, for information about having your child baptized at Pax. 

Nursery care

Our nursery, located in the lower level off the dining hall, provides loving and safe care for children from birth to kindergarten age. It is typically open during the 9 am and 10:45 am Mass on Sundays. If you use this service, please consider giving of your time to help in this ministry. Volunteers must complete the Safe and Sacred on-line training through the Diocese of Winona and are subject to a background check. Contact our nursery volunteer coordinator for more information. 

Mass tote bags

We realize that children under the age of First Communion occasionally need activities to keep them occupied during Mass. There are bags by each door for your use. Please return the bags when finished.  

Hospitality Room

Our hospitality room, located in the gathering area, has a rocking chair for nursing moms.

Family Room

 For those that need a little more space, or for crying infants during Mass, our glass enclosed family room is located on the east side of the church. 　

Changing tables

Diaper changing tables are located in all mens' and womens' restrooms.

Change of Clothes

In case of accidents, the nursery has extra clothing located in the cupboards along the north wall. Please wash and return.
