We are in the first of three years of Mission Ignite implementation. This first year we are focusing on hospitality. The second year will focus on evangelization. And the third year will focus on developing disciples. We have a number of teams working on this within the parish including: a discipleship team, our pastoral council, a hospitality team and a stewardship committee. For more information and to learn how to be involved here at Pax Christi, check out our Mission & Outreach page or contact Nathan Schuster at the parish office:
Pax Christi has begun a new partnership with St. Paul Parish in Karambi, Congo through the help of Bernard Mpagazihe (a parishioner of Pax Christi) and his Hands Without Boundaries Foundation. We look forward to this partnership and the many graces and blessings it will bring to both of our communities! See the webpage below for more information and to get involved.
The work on the roof replacement is set to begin on Monday, March 16. Due to the noise level, we will celebrate daily morning Masses in the St. Carlo Acutis Youth Center beginning Monday, March 16. Thursday evening Masses will remain in the church. Weekend Masses during the roof project will also be in the church as usual. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this schedule should allow us to have the front roofs done by Easter - when the work will move to the roofs over the education/activity center. We will do our best to keep you updated on the roof project – particularly through parish emails, here on the website, and on social media. Please anticipate some noise disturbances, materials and roof workers around our buildings beginning March 16 for about 6 weeks.
Thanks to those who continue to respond to our ongoing roof appeal. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! With the advice of the Finance Council, we are moving ahead with replacing the rooftop HVAC units. These units have outlived their life expectancy, and it is more cost effective to replace them now than to wait. We are blessed to have savings to cover this, but we will continue to look at ways of replacing the funds that we are using. So, if you are wondering, there is still an opportunity to give. You can donate to this effort by the online giving button below (and specifying the Capital Campaign - Roofs in the list of funds).

Friends, in today’s Gospel, Jesus heals the son of a royal official. Healer: that’s why he’s come; that’s who he is. In Jesus, divinity and humanity meet.
