Safe Environment
The Catholic Church is committed to the safety of our children.
The Diocese of Winona-Rochester requires all those 18+ who are in contact with children or vulnerable adults to register online at Virtus.org. The registration is entirely online and includes:- E-signing a Code of Conduct Statement
- Watching 13 video lessons, which takes 60-75 minutes to complete
- Completing an authorization for a background check
Recertification is required every 5 years. This involves completing online training and submitting to a background check.
